Valeria arrived as a trained nurse in UK in 2013, and quickly became proficient in the UK health and social care system. Since then, Valeria has practised nursing in hospitals and residential homes, all the time building a reputation for helping teams of nurses and care staff to deliver quality care respecting the national framework and CQC standards. She held various positions starting as a staff nurse on the floor, and progressed as a Unit Manager, Clinical Manager, and Deputy Manager and is trained to Home Manager level.

Valeria now shares her experiences to provoke thought about how weaknesses can become strengths for all nurses and their teams. She is a specialist in overcoming the obstacles new nurses face at the start of their careers.
